Song Background

I wrote this song one night after thinking about all of the things that were happening across the US coming out of the COVID-era lockdowns.  Each night the news reported violence, looting, and rioting across many of our cities.  It was a scary time to say the least.  Chaos seemed to rule, and anarchy was certainly on the rise.  In the end, I realized none of it matters.  The world will always be full of chaos, but we have nothing to fear!  We know that Christ will return and take us to heaven soon!  As I opened my eyes from praying for protection, I realized there aren't many songs that mention the rapture… I chose to write one!

Psalm 23:4
